Problems Signing into Microsoft 365 Apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, Onedrive, etc)

​​​​​Recommended Method (Works for Windows 10 & Windows 11)

  1. Open Settings

    • Press Windows + I
  2. Select Accounts

  3. Click Access work or school
    (This is critical — do NOT choose “Email & accounts”)

  4. Under Work or school account, select the Office 365 account you want to remove

  5. Click Disconnect

  6. When prompted, click Yes to confirm

  7. Restart the computer

  8. Sign back into a Microsoft 365 app

  9. When it asks if you want to sign into all apps, websites, and services on this device, select Yes

  10. When it asks to Allow your organization to manage your device, select No.
