How do I add (map) a network printer?

1. Find the printer name (located on a label on the printer or ask a co-worker)
2. Ensure your Northwood-owned device is connected to the admin network
   • Personal devices cannot print to network printers.
3. Click the Start/Windows  button
4. Type \\miadmin\ and press Enter
5. Double-click the printer you want to install
6. Wait 1-2 minutes for the printer drivers to install

 Xerox printers require an Accounting ID/User ID copy code--contact the Finance Office at x74207 to obtain your code.

If you receive an error message or if your computer is asking for an administrator password please submit a Hardware Support request.
