Submitting Midterm Grades

Here are the necessary steps for an instructor to submit midterm grades and attendance:

  1. Click the Self Service link on the Blackboard Ellucian page.
  2. Once logged in to Self Service click the Faculty menu.
  3. Click on the Grading tab in the Section Details menu in Self-Service.
  4. Click on the correct grading term: Midterm 1. IMPORTANT: Please be sure the Midterm 1 tab is selected.
  5. Enter each student’s midterm grade in the Midterm Grade field.
  6. After all midterm grades are entered for each student on the roster, click Midterm Grading Complete.
    *Note: Once the Midterm Grading Complete button is clicked, faculty will not be able to change submitted grades.
  7. To verify midterm grades have been submitted, after clicking Midterm Grading Complete, review the system message (Midterm grading marked complete) toward the top right-hand side of the Section Details page.
