Submitting Midterm Grades

Here are the necessary steps for an instructor to submit midterm grades and attendance:

  1. Within Blackboard click the Self Service link in the top frame.
  2. Once logged in to Self Service click the Faculty menu.
  3. Next click the link for the course section you wish to take grade.
  4. On the Section Details site in Self-Service, scroll down on the page and click the tab for Grading.
  5. Click on the Midterm 1 tab.
  6. Click the drop-down arrow in the Midterm Grade field, and select the appropriate letter grade for each student. 
  7. After all midterm grades are entered for each student on the roster, click the Midterm Grading Complete button, located on the upper right side of the roster.
  8. The system message "Midterm grading marked complete" will appear in green toward the top right-hand side of the Section Details page, to confirm your midterm grades have been submitted.
