How Do I Manage My Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Methods?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) helps protect your Northwood account by requiring an additional verification method when signing in. You can manage your security methods at any time to add new methods, update existing methods, or remove methods you no longer use. Keeping multiple authentication methods on file is required to help ensure continued access to your account if you change devices or lose access to a verification method.

If you have previously setup methods, you must have access to your current multi-factor authentication (MFA) security methods in order to add new methods.

  1. Go to https://methods.northwood.edu
  2. Sign in with your Northwood username and password
    • If you no longer have access to your current authentication method(s), you must reset all security methods by visiting https://verify.northwood.edu
  3. Select Add sign-in method
