SANS is the most trusted and by far the largest source for information security training in the world. Northwood University requires all faculty and staff complete the General Core training module. The 10 videos have been designed to provide quick, effective awareness messages about a variety of information security-focused topics, such as creating strong passwords, using social media tools more safely, wireless security, smartphone/handheld security, as well as policies and procedures. This training module is meant to serve as a supplemental educational resource, as well as foster broader information technology (IT) security awareness across the University.
